Greyhound 1st Aid Kit---

This kit contains the basic items necessary to administer first aid to your greyhound (other pets and other humans may also benefit from the contents of this kit). This kit is not intended to replace your veterinarian. Please consult your vet in the case of any medical emergency. A home kit and a travel kit are shown. You should have both.
This kit contains: 2 pairs of vinyl gloves (in a zip-lock bag) 1 pair of scissors 1 pair of tweezers 2 cold packs 1 bottle of hydrogen peroxide 4 antiseptic wipes 6 packets of antibiotic ointment 2 packets of buffered aspirin (2 per packet) 2 rolls of gauze wrap 2 2X3 sterile gauze pads 2 3X4 sterile gauze pads Q-tips & cotton balls in a zip-lock bag
Aditional items you may want to include: Greyhound medications prescribed by your vet (i.e. seizure medications for epileptic greyhounds) Oral syringe (useful in administering liquid medications) Nasal aspiration bulb for wound irigation. Styptic powder/pen to stop bleeding. Small treats to reward your greyhound for sitting still while being tended to.
You can get a kit from us for a $30 donation. Note: Hydrogen peroxide may be used to induce vomiting in the case of accidental ingestion of harmful substances. Please consult your vet regarding the proper amount.
