November 12, 1994 to November 22, 2002
His nicknames are Goofy, Mr.P, Sweet P, Boston Blackie. He is a
very good boy. He just doesn't quite get it sometimes.
He loved to run with our Lurcher, Chance. They were the best of buddies.
We adopted him on November 21, 1998.
He had little chance of being adopted at the time. He was all black . His face turned white
as time went on. He was diagnosed with Lymphosarcoma* in September 2002.
This is the worst nightmare we could ever imagine. This unfeeling disease ravaged his body.
He has crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is playing with Scruffy. We will miss him.
This disease is very unforgiving and spreads very fast.
Check your friends very closely. It started as a lump on the
first joint of his right leg. We had the vet try to remove the lump. I think it was a mistake.
He never used that leg again.
He loved to play. He loved to chase the terriers next door [fence between them].
*Lymphoma[Lymphosarcoma]-
A type of lymphoproliferative disorder forming solid tissue masses
within a variety of organs, e.g., lymph nodes, spleen, liver, etc.
When it is found in the blood or bone marrow, it is termed a metastatic or
secondary lymphoid leukemia at those sites.
