Rebecca, Chris and Matthew of Utah adopted Katie (aka MG's Poco Katie) on June 8, 2003. Katie is a 60 lbs red brindle girl, born August 1999. She is friends with the family cats, Chance and Spooky. In the beginning days of her adoption and because of days spent without human companionship, it was decided that it would be best for Katie to be crated. Unfortunately, Katie was not consulted in this matter. Muzzling was not a favorite choice either. Katie now runs the house on her terms. Chris is employed by an architect and Rebecca work for the government. They have one son, Matthew. Katie now has a new playmate, Fire.
