Jeff and Jane of Utah adopted Jester (aka Reggie)
on January 12, 2003. Jester is a 68 lbs. brindle boy, born April 2001.
His new family adores his clown-like antics and loving personality.
Jeff is a school teacher and Jane is employed as an advisor.
They have two sons Daniel and Jaxon. Jester also shares
his new home with their cats, Gabby and Owie. We've been told that
Jester has a bad heart condition. Our thoughts go out to Jester and
his family. Every day is a good day.

I’m not sure how to even start this letter. I’ve sat here staring at my
fingers for the past hour. I guess there is no easy way to say it. Jester’s
heart finally gave out. He has been fighting hard the past 6 months and over
the last weekend he let us know that he was done. We said goodbye to him a
couple of hours ago. He went peacefully. I am so grateful for the 6 years that
he was with us. He was joy. He brought a smile to my face every day. Even the
past few months when he could not get around very well he would position himself
in the exact center of the house so that he could keep an eye on everyone …and be
totally in the way when you were going up or down the stairs. I swear he took up
that whole landing! He will be fiercely missed. I just wanted to thank you for
the gift you gave us when you brought him into our lives. We will treasure him forever.
Thank you so much! Jane Silver-Bagford |
