Sad News.......... Heather stopped at our place, as usual, on her Washington run. This one included a tragedy. A Greyhound she brought in, know only as Sport, started having what looked like a breathing problem. She had this Grey for 8 months with no known medical problem. This trip he was going to a home. His problem increased in a very short time. Despite everything we did, in a matter of 10 minutes he crossed the bridge. We will find out what happened but it was very close to what we experienced with Rocky. |

| Recently while on a walk with her Greyhound and young daughter, one of our adopters encountered a woman with a large dog walking toward them. The UNLEASHED, VICIOUS dog attacked the Greyhound. This happened along Kays Creek parkway trail (The paved trail is just south of highway 193 and west of highway 89 in Layton.). If anyone has info on the identity of the woman and her VICIOUS dog, please email us. Our adopter reported the incident to the authorities. They made her feel like she was at fault. Kinda makes you wonder about talking to the 'authorities' about anything. > |
